Part-time traveller, Full-Time Brummie

GPS My City Downloadable City Guides!

GPSmyCity Giveaway
I’ve blogged previously about GPSmyCity guides, and as they’re kindly offering a free upgraded download of two of my guides for THIS WEEK ONLY it’s a good time to remind everyone what they’re all about!
GPSmyCity turn travel blogs and articles from a website like A Brummie Home and Abroad into an app which you can use on the go on your tablet or smartphone. The app itself can be downloaded for free, as can many of the city guides, but if you’d like full offline access and GPS navigation guide then the articles can be upgraded for a tiny fee. This means you don’t have to worry about finding wifi or using up your precious data!
You can follow my city guides step-by-step, or you can just select an attraction or sight you’re interested in, click the Go there button and your route will be plotted for you.  No more standing on street corners trying to wrestle a fold-out map, or miming your required destination to bemused locals.
Sometimes one of the most challenging things about city break planning is planning what you’re going to do and what you’re going to see – let me, and others in the know, help you out!  If you’re heading to Venice, Copenhagen or Dubrovnik – or staying closer to home in Bristol or York – then you can download my city guides via GPSmyCity. And from 24th April to 1st May, full offline GPS-assisted versions of A Brummie Home and Abroad Guide to a Weekend in Venice and A Guide to 48 (ish) Hours in Copenhagen are available for FREE!!! Click on the links below to download the apps for GPS-assisted travel directions to the attractions featured.
If you haven’t already downloaded the app you’ll get the option to do this first.  If you downloaded the app last time I raved about it then you’ll be directed to these articles straight away where you can either save them for later reading, or upgrade to the super-duper GPS-assisted version.
If you upgrade one of these articles outside of the freebie period – or choose to upgrade one of my other city guides – then there is a tiny fee involved, of which I get a tiny fee too!

Thanks to GPSMyCity for supporting the FREE giveaway of these upgraded apps for a limited period!

*Please note that the GPSmyCity App is available on Apple Products only at the moment guys…sorry users of others operating systems
