I’m way out here in the B46 postcode now but it doesn’t mean I’m not still keen on eating out. Coleshill has more than its fair share of pubs and restaurants so for anyone else based in this little corner of North Warwickshire I’ve put together this handy little guide to the local businesses participating in the Government’s Eat Out To Help Out scheme throughout August.
In order to help the economy, the government have introduced an initiative whereby participating restaurants can offer a 50% discount per customer on food and soft drinks (up to the value of £10). Its a nationwide scheme, and is valid Monday-Wednesday throughout August. The best thing is, there’s no vouchers to download, your discount will automatically be applied. So no faff. And the second best thing? You can use the Eat Out To Help Out scheme as many times as you like. I won’t judge. Or maybe just a little.
You can find out more here.
(Please note that for brevity I’ve only covered establishments on “this side” of the M42.)

To find out which chain restaurants and pubs are participating, please click here.
I fully intend to take advantage of discounted dining this month, in Coleshill, in Brum and also during our mini-break in Wales (which handily falls on a Monday to Wednesday). And of course, please make sure that you adhere to all COVID-19 precautions put in place, including registering contact details when asked, hand sanitation and respecting social distancing at all times. If in any doubt, please check with the establishment beforehand.
