5 Picture Perfect Spots in Switzerland’s Jungfrau Region

If you’re anything like me, one of the first things I do when planning a trip is to search for the place on Instagram. It means I can have a look at all those beautiful pictures, look for the perfect photo opportunity and plan for sunset spots. Being married to a photographer means that these things are even more important! But sometimes you just stumble across a spot that no-one told you about. Or it’s on your very own hotel balcony. Here’s A Brummie Home and Abroad’s guide to 5 picture perfect spots in Switzerland’s Jungfrau Region

5. Murren

4. Kleine Schiedegg

If only all train stations had such a view…

3. Harder Kulm

2. Lauterbrunnen Valley

1. Grindelwald

…oh apart from this one – the Grindelwald valley nestling under the Eiger

Special mention goes to…

…our hotel balcony. If you’re lucky enough to have Room 34 at the Hotel Berghof Amaranth then this is the view you’ll get. Eiger, Monsch and Jungfrau, the triumvirate of the Bernese Alps, from your own bed.
