When Mr Fletche suggested Brussels as an Easter/birthday getaway, I confess that I wasn’t overly enthused. What’s in Brussels, I asked? Home of the European Parliament, where they sit around discussing how much bend should be in our bananas? Sprouts (a vegetable that would certainly be consigned to my Room 101)? Tintin and his dog? A little boy peeing into a fountain? Instead, I was more than pleasantly surprised by what this vibrant and cosmopolitan city had to offer. Dull, grey and bureaucratic? Most definitely not…
