I highly recommend you fit Belém into your Lisbon itinerary. With a bit of careful planning the top attractions can all be seen in one day, and its super-easy to travel by train or tram.
A last-minute change to our itinerary led us to an easy day trip from Lisbon to Cascais, a charming seaside town with beaches, historic sights, scenic walks, and delicious food!
Lisbon captured our hearts for the second time – although this time was thankfully much drier! We got to stroll along the riverfront, take in sunset views from the miradouros and tackle the many stairways of Lisbon without being encumbered by raincoats and umbrellas.
